- Are you a fan of Jeopardy and Trivia games? Interested in showing off your knowledge in Science, History, Art, Sports, Math, Pop Culture? Want to compete against schools from around the region and even around the world? The SRS Quiz Bowl Team in looking for new and returning members from all grades. Contact Ms. Grunwald in room 307 if you're interested. Meetings will start in a few weeks.
- Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, October 20. If you were absent on picture day or would like a new picture, please sign up by Thursday, October 15th in the office. If you purchased a photo package and would like new pictures, the purchased pictures must be returned to school on picture retake day. See Mrs. Trzasko with any questions.
- Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, October 21, our school will celebrate Unity Day, the central event of National Bullying Prevention Month. We ask everyone to wear orange on this day. Wearing orange is a simple, powerful way to show that we stand together against bullying and support a safe, inclusive school for all
Counseling Office News:
- Attention Sophomores: The Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY) is looking for motivated high school sophomores to explore leadership form different perspectives and to discover how personal and societal leadership can lead to social change. You'll live on the campus of Bentley University for 3 days, June 4-6, while attending this engaging leadership seminar. Your HOBY experience is sure to provide you with a fun, life-changing experience and will cultivate your leadership skills. If you are interested in being one of two Southwick Regional School participants, please submit a letter of interest highlighting your leadership experiences in the school and community to Ms. Downie (in Guidance) by Friday, October 30th.
