General Announcements:

Attention all potential voters. With the November election approaching, the Town Clerk's office will be here to hold a Voter Registration Drive on Tuesday, October 8^th at 1^st and 3^rd lunches. This will be a chance for students to register to vote for the fall or upcoming elections. See Mr. Trzasko in room 403 with any questions.

What kind of job do you want in the future? Some of today's high-tech jobs might surprise you! Come join us on a field trip to the ACM Future Workforce Opportunities Fair on Thursday, October 31 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Meet people from local aerospace manufacturing companies who can show you all the possibilities for all kinds of jobs in this exciting and fast-growing industry! This interactive event is free and open to students in grades 8-12. Space is limited, so see Mrs. Margiotta in the Career Center, Room 423, for a permission slip.

A few spots remain for the field trip to UMASS for the Women in Engineering and Computing Day on October 28 for 10-12^th graders. If you're interested, please see Mrs. Margiotta in Room #423.

The ASVAB test will be given here on Friday, October 25 for 10-12^th graders. To reserve your spot, please see Mrs. Margiotta in Room #423.

Counseling Office News:

Attention Juniors & Seniors - The Westfield High School College Fair will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 9-10:30am. Permission slips can be found in the counseling department.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors: We will be hosting PSAT’s on Wednesday, October 16^th, starting at 7:35 a.m. The cost is $18. Checks can be made out to SRS or exact cash only. Sign-ups are in the counseling office.
